| Prof. Anton Malkin, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China Research area: International political economy and innovation; International business Experience: Anton Malkin is a professor at the Department of Global Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. Anton has advised the Canadian government on China-Canada economic relations and China's innovation policies. He has published academic papers and policy reports on topics ranging from China's venture capital sector, technology transfer and joint ventures, and the growth of China's intangibles economy. His current research examines the impact of US-China technological rivalry on China's ICT firms, as well as the unique role of foreign and government capital in China's venture capital sector. From 2016 to 2020, Anton was a Research Fellow at Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI). From 2012 to 2013, Anton was a senior visiting scholar at the School of International Studies at Peking University. |

He was a bioinformatician at the German Cancer Research Center, a senior scientist at Neo New Oncology in Cologne, a subsidiary of Siemens Healthcare, and Vice President of Research and Development at Shenzhen Zhongke Precious Biotechnology. He has extensive experience in bioinformatics algorithms and software development, cancer genomic data analysis and precision medicine, and the related software and web servers developed by him are freely available to the academic community and are widely used by international peers.

He is faculty member of the NITIM (Networks, Information, Technology & Innovation Management) European Graduate School and supports conferences and journals as Associate Editor and Reviewer. | Prof. Patrick Glauner, Deggendorf Institute of Technology, Germany Research area: Artificial Intelligence Experience: Dr. Patrick Glauner is a full professor of Artificial Intelligence at Deggendorf Institute of Technology since his age of 30. He has been ranked by CDO Magazine among the worldwide academic data leaders. In parallel, he is the Founder & CEO of skyrocket.ai GmbH, an AI consulting firm. As an expert witness, he advised the German federal parliament and the French National Assembly on AI. He also regularly advises politicians on European, federal, state, and local levels. His works on AI were featured by New Scientist, McKinsey, Imperial College London, Times Higher Education, Coursera, Udacity, the Luxembourg National Research Fund, Towards Data Science, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Westdeutscher Rundfunk, Wehrtechnik, Konstruktionspraxis, and others.
